Event Details

Schools are at the heart of children’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. Thanks to Every Child Matters, the unique role that schools play in securing children’s well-being has finally been recognised.

But there are real and ongoing challenges for schools in developing effective practice in this area.

To support schools in meeting their duties and changing their practice, NCB is bringing together for the first time the leading experts in the field to examine with head teachers, school governors, Children’s Services professionals and others what well-being is, what it means for schools and how these partnerships can improve outcomes across the range.

The conference is organised into three sessions: Big ideas; Practice and Performance and Partnerships and Policy.
